At the heart of I am H.E.R, are young, beautiful, Christian women who are bravely navigating life's transitions - from marriage and motherhood to career pivots, geographic relocations, and personal losses, like miscarriage. Through their journeys, they've discovered resilience, faith, and identity in Christ.
United by their shared journeys, they now empower others to embrace transition, find healing, and evolve into the women God designed them to be. With compassion, wisdom, and authenticity, I am H.E.R. team creates a safe space for women to confront challenges, celebrate triumphs, and discover restoration in Christ.
We are committed to making a real impact. The hosting of bi monthly support groups, monthly Bible studies and prayer, conferences and retreats to boost self-esteem, provide clothing drives to meet basic needs, and hold career days at teen shelters to broaden horizons. We also plan to visit girls juvenile jails to offer support, showing that there is a path to redemption and transformation.
When you join our team, you become part of a caring, compassionate community. Together, we inspire and uplift each other, creating a support system that extends to the girls and young women we serve.
HER story isn't taken from any notable figure, ie. Ruth, Esther, Mary, etc., but from an unexpected place - the woman with the issue of blood in Mark 5:22-34.
We draw from her journey, recognizing that life's transitions (i.e. sickness, marriage, divorce, motherhood, career choice, etc.) that often come with trials, can be catalysts for spiritual growth, healing and transformation.
Once shunned and considered 'unclean', she discovered her true identity in Christ and became bold, unashamed, and unstoppable in her pursuit of wholeness. She seized her moment and captured Jesus' attention, as he uniquely called her "Daughter".
We invite you to join us on this long -lived journey of self-discovery as we navigate life's ebbs and flows, by seeking only to draw closer to our heavenly father, Christ the King.
